Louisville Bike to Work Day 2009

Bike Louisville is making it easy this year with 3 Meet & Ride locations around town:

• Leaving at 7:30 a.m. from Seneca Park: Meet at the basketball court parking lot just west of the tennis courts. Where is that? See our bike day routes map. Also see our draft system bike route plan maps for other routes around town. Clarksville Schwinn will be at Seneca Park to help with any bike tune- ups needed before the ride!
  
• Leaving at 7:30 a.m. from Iroquois Park at the Amphitheater parking lot. Where is that? See our bike day routes map. Also see our draft system bike route plan maps for other routes around town.
  
  
• Leaving at 7:30 a.m. from Shawnee Park Shelter near the basketball courts. Where is that? See our bike day routes map. Also see our draft system bike route plan maps for other routes around town.
  
  
• To return to each park after work, you can meet your ride captains again at 4th Street Live! at 5 p.m. where they will lead return rides along the same or similar routes as the morning rides.
  
• Scheller's Fitness and Cycling will be at 4th Street Live to help with any bike tune-ups needed in the morning and they will participate in our celebration at noon!

The Meet & Ride locations will allow you to ride with many other riders and ride captains from the Louisville Bicycle Club! Then at lunch, from 12 until 1 p.m. at 4th Street Live! we'll have our Bike to Work celebration where you can gather with other commuters, visit vendors to learn more about bicycle commuting and the city's Bike Louisville program and more.

Why Register? By registering with us, you'll be helping us gauge how many people are interested in commuting.  That helps us plan for bike projects for the future.

Registration also puts you in the running to win a new Trek 7000 commuting bike we'll be giving away at our 4th Street Live! celebration, co-sponsored by Scheller's Fitness and Cycling (no purchase necessary). Registered riders who are at 4th Street Live will also get a bike to work sling bag, a leg strap (while supplies last) and more at the 4th Street Live celebration from 12 until 1 p.m.
